2010 Dive Trips

Furness branch a have a trip on one of Tony Blackhursts Tornado Fleet Boats. It is from 19th September, and is flying out of MANCHESTER. Th e cost is approx £1K.

NORFED NORFED 52ND Dinner is booked for Saturday 20th November 2010.

To be held again at the Heath Cottage Hotel, Dewsbury where we have had so many excellent dinners over the past few years.

The annual Dinner Dance is a chance for members to renew friendships and enjoy an excellent meal in convivial surroundings. The annual Photographic Competition, competing for the prestigious Photographer of the Year trophy. The judging is done at the Dinner Dance, where all the entries are displayed for all the guests to see and appreciate. The Diver of the Year trophy, the Photographer of the Year trophy and other trophies are presented here.

Another great NORFED Dinner was held on 28th October at The Heath Cottage Hotel and enjoyed by the ‘oldies’ and the ‘not so oldies’ alike.

A total of 13 clubs were represented there.

The food was, as usual, fantastic, complemented by the excellent friendly service we have come to expect from The Heath.

The Diver of the Year was awarded to Len Procter of Leeds Athletic Diving Club who is still actively diving at the age of 75 years young. He was at a large family party that weekend, so Bob accepted the prestigious trophy on his behalf.

The Photographer of the Year was awarded to Mark Brooke of Pennine Orca branch for his stunning photos.

Many thanks to all who contributed in any way with the organising and to all our guests for sharing it with us.
